The Himachal Pradesh Police Department’s B-1 exam will now be held in two shifts on November 9th. The department has announced the new exam date, and preparations have been intensified.
The first shift will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the second shift will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This exam is conducted to promote police constables to the rank of head constable.
This exam is being held after nearly eight years. Nearly 4,500 police personnel from across the state have applied, of which 877 candidates will be promoted.
The exam was canceled on October 26th due to technical problems.
The exam was previously scheduled to begin online on October 26th, but had to be canceled due to persistent technical glitches in the software and server crashes. Candidates had arrived at 14 exam centers across the state since morning, but the exam had to be stopped midway due to login and data loading problems.
Police Headquarters has stated that all technical glitches in the software and server systems will be addressed before the exam begins, ensuring the exam can be conducted without disruption. Exam-related instructions have been issued to all districts, and preparations are underway.
