Green, who was included in the base price auction of Rs 2 cr. was bought by KKR for Rs 25.2 cr. Green has become the most expensive foreign player in IPL history. The auction for IPL 2026 has ended. Out of 369 players, 77 players have been added by the franchises to their respective teams. In the mini auction held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, 5 players got money of Rs 10 cr. or more. Among them, 3 are foreign players while 2 are uncapped Indian players.

Sri Lankan fast bowler Mathisha Pathirana became the second most expensive player for IPL 2026. KKR bought this player with a base price of Rs 2 crore for Rs 18 crore.
