Australian all-rounder Cameron Green got the most money in the mini auction for IPL 2026 in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. Green, who was included in the base price auction of Rs 2 cr. was bought by KKR for Rs 25.2 cr. Green has become the most expensive foreign player in IPL history. He has also become the most expensive player for KKR.
The auction for IPL 2026 has ended. Out of 369 players, 77 players have been added by the franchises to their respective teams. In the mini auction held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, 5 players got money of Rs 10 cr. or more. Among them, 3 are foreign players while 2 are uncapped Indian players.
Cameron Green

Mathisha Pathirana
Sri Lankan fast bowler Mathisha Pathirana became the second most expensive player for IPL 2026. KKR bought this player with a base price of Rs 2 crore for Rs 18 crore. Pathirana was part of the Chennai Super Kings team in the previous season. He was also called the second Malinga due to his bowling action. He was a wicket-taking bowler for CSK. He is expected to excel in KKR too.
Karthik Sharma
Uncapped Indian players Karthik Sharma and Prashant Vir were bought by CSK for Rs 14.2 cr. Karthik has become the most expensive uncapped player in IPL history. The base price of 19-year-old Karthik Sharma was Rs 30 lakh. MI had bid for him as an opening batsman and later LSG entered. After this, KKR and CSK came face to face. However, CSK remained unwavering. They bid Rs 14 cr. and pulled KKR’s hand back. And CSK included Karthik in their team.
Prashant Vir
20-year-old Prashant Vir is an all-rounder. He bowls left-arm spin and bats in the middle order. Prashant will be playing IPL for the first time. He has scored 112 runs in 12 domestic T20 matches so far at a strike rate of 167.16. Similarly, Prashant has taken 12 wickets in 9 innings at an economy rate of 6.45. He performed brilliantly in the UP T20 League. He was a part of Noida Super Kings in that tournament. He is seen as a long-term option to replace Ravindra Jadeja in CSK. Prashant was born on November 24, 2005 in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. He was also brought into the team by Chennai for Rs 14.2 cr.
Liam Livingstone
IPL 2026 mini action proved lucky for Liam Livingstone. Because Livingstone could not be sold in the first round. His base price was Rs 2 cr. After that, Lucknow Super Giants started bidding for him. After that, Sunrisers also showed interest in Livingstone. Finally, Livingstone went to Hyderabad for Rs 13 cr.
