A land dispute in Bihar’s Gopalganj district has drawn public attention after Vijendranath Tiwari, the elder brother of acclaimed Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi, was allegedly attacked and seriously injured during a violent altercation in his native village.
The incident reportedly occurred in Belsand village under the Barauli police station area. According to local sources, tensions over a property-related issue had been simmering for some time. The disagreement is said to have escalated into a physical confrontation, during which Vijendranath Tiwari was allegedly assaulted with sticks and blunt objects.
