Amid the growing chaos, Speaker Om Birla intervened with a firm message, stressing the need to uphold parliamentary decorum and constitutional dignity.
According to sources, the Speaker’s intervention followed remarks and gestures made on the floor of the House that were viewed as crossing the limits of acceptable parliamentary conduct, particularly in references to the Prime Minister. Om Birla reminded members that while criticism and debate are integral to democracy, they must remain within the framework of established rules and traditions.
